Frequently Asked Questions when booking a live band

Where are you based, and how far do you travel?

We are based in London, but travel all over Southern England to perform. Where accommodation or significantly early travel is involved we may need to factor this into your quote. Take a look at our locations to see where we have performed before to get an idea of where we usually travel to.

How much do you charge?

There are lots of factors that affect your quote, including location, date, lineup. As a result, it's best for you to complete an enquiry form and we will get back to you with an accurate quote. As a professional, experienced band with different lineups we aim to offer the best value we can for all types of enquiry!

How long do you play for?

We usually play 2x 1 hour sets, with a break. Sometimes this is split into 3x 40 minute sets, but we find that hour long sets are often better from the point-of-view of those on the dancefloor, as there is less changing around. In between sets we provide our own specially-mixed playlists, so there can be dancing all night without the need for a separate DJ.

Can I see you playing live anywhere?

We occasionally play at public events, but the vast majority of gigs are private - weddings, balls and fucntions. To get a good idea of what we can bring to your event have a look at our video or testimonials.

How long does it take you to setup?

This can depend on access, but assuming we can get to the stage area with relative ease, it normally takes us around 90 minutes to setup and soundcheck the evening band. There is often time in between a meal and evening entertainment that can be used for us to setup in; and we will work with you to make sure things run smoothly on the day with minimum disruption.

What do you require on the day?

We need a playing area of 15'x10' with access to a least two 13amp pwer sockets for sole use by the band (i.e. not shared with kitchen/disco/lighting)

A room to change clothes and prepare in is necessary, but we realise that this isn't possible at venues like marquees!
