"Well, what can we say.................. we got back from a wonderful honeymoon this week, and everyone is still talking about our Wedding, and in particular, Groovestone! We can honestly say that you completely surpassed our expectations; we knew (from your website and DVD) that you were good, but we never imagined you would be THAT good! The Jazz in the afternoon set the ambience perfectly, and the band in the evening just completely made the day! As you know, I danced literally all night, and I certainly was not alone - the dancefloor was full right to the end, and I sang your encore all honeymoon - not sure Anthony was so impressed with that!
The staff at the Hotel told us that you were the best band they had had for a Wedding, and they claimed that they had never held a Wedding where every single guest was still on the dancefloor for the last song! Flattery indeed!

"We just wanted to let you know how much we and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed having Groovestone at our Wedding Reception. Despite it being a Thursday night and some people having to go to work the next day everyone was up dancing and loving the fantastic choice of music right from the very beginning all the way through to the very end – I blame you that I didn’t get round to talking to everyone because I danced all night! Unfortunately there is video evidence of how much I enjoyed one song in particular...
Further testament to how good you are is that our friends are still talking about our ‘amazing band’. One friend took your card for his own wedding next year and another friend is thinking of booking you for his 40th in 2 years time! "Arron and i just wanted to write to you to say a massive thankyou for all your help with organising Groovestone for our wedding reception on 11th July. They were truly fantastic - their performance, sound quality and energy was really the best I have heard and we had so many people complimenting them and asking for their details. So many of the thankyou cards we have recieved have commented on them and my brother in law is now thinking of booking them for a ball that he is organising. My mum (who is a bit frugal!) originally had to be convinced that it was a good idea to have Groovestone to do the 2 hour jazz set during our drinks reception but afterwards she said how glad she was that we had decided to do it - it made the day extra special - the fact that the weather held out and they were able to play outside was a bonus. Having th iPod music also worked a treat - as well as pop music we did some Scottish ceilidh dancing between the bands sets and our guests loved that too.The v ariety music was perfect and the dancefloor was not empty for a single moment - something several people have commented on. I have to admit, for the majority of the evening I abandoned my bridal duties and was on the dance floor for most of the evening. Please pass on our comments and thanks to the band, thankyou again"

"From the moment I found the Groovestone website and listened to the demo's through to them finishing playing at the wedding anniversary party, the band has been fantastic.
It is really difficult to find people that you can rely on when you are organising a party and by booking Groovestone I did not have to worry about a thing. I booked the 4 piece Jazz band and the full band for the party and they were absolutely excellent.
The crowd was a real mixture of young and old, but everyone commented on how good they were. They are all quality musicians and sound superb, which really made a difference on the night.

"We wanted our wedding reception to be very relaxed and above all good fun and that is exactly what we got! The afternoon jazz was perfect and got everyone loosened up and chatting to each other. The band itself in the evening was superb and for a lot of the night, no one was sat down, with the dance floor in the marquee absolutely packed with people aged from 11 to 78! In hindsight we should have got a bigger dance floor! We cannot recommend Groovestone enough, they are lovely people and a fantastic band.
